About James Exton, CEO

Hi.

Like many people I adore travelling.  Meeting new people, new cultures and new experiences makes life worth living.  I have been fortunate to have visited 24 countries in 5 continents over my travelling life but Asia will always have a special place in my heart.

However, travelling can be problematic for some.  I have Friedreich's Ataxia, a medical condition which means I have been using a wheelchair since 1998.   Consequently a lot of planning is involved before I travel.  Is the hotel wheelchair friendly? Is public transport accessible?  Are tourist sites accessible?  Unfortunately many people with disabilities find the whole idea of travel too daunting- they either go somewhere they know has good access (like USA, Europe etc) or they just give up on the idea of travel entirely.

Over the past 15 years I have carried out access audits on retail outlets, restaurants and airports in the UK and giving them advice on how to improve their services.  I now want to use my knowledge and broad experience to help tourism stakeholders improve access and help them promote their business to the one of the fastest growing segments of global tourism.

Thanks,

James

About Jayita Bhattacharya, Marketing Consultant

Hi,

It wasn't till I started working as a disability counsellor that I noticed how inaccessible the world is. Whether it be the physical environment or society's views, people with disabilities face many barriers which prevent them from enjoying things that able-bodied people take for granted.

By not providing accessible goods and services, the Tourism sector is missing out on a sizeable market of high spending tourists.  WE can help business reach this market. We promise 'On Time, Every Time' delivery of cost-efficient products, services and solutions which will ensure that your company can offer exceptional service to a wider market.

As well as being a National Level Disability Activist in India, I am also associated with the Indian Wheelchair Cricket Team as the Head of Training and Development. I have more than 20 years of experience in International Education Management, Business Planning & Sourcing, Client Servicing, Marketing and Relationship building.  I have worked in a variety of organisations, including International University,  Multinational Banks, Media, IT and Recruitment companies.

I look forward to using this experience to help you improve accessibility.

Thank you

Jayita
